On Sunday, actors Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol welcomed a baby boy. In a tweet, the couple’s spokesperson announced that this morning, Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol greeted with a baby boy. The mother and baby are both safe and are doing well.
In October, Amrita had shared the news of her pregnancy. Sharing a picture of herself boasting the baby bump, the actor of Ishq Vishk said that it is the 10th month for her but for both of them it is the 9th month. Anmol and she were already in their 9th month says Amrita. She is too happy to share this good news with her fans and friends.
RJ Anmol said earlier, talking about being a father that he and Amrita would welcome further. As being a father, Anmol stated that they together will be welcoming their child as a friend into their lives. In an interview, Anmol being so touched said that there are no preconceived notions and when it comes, he would be likely to cross the bridge. He also added that he still thinks he’s a kid though, and so is Amrita, so it’s likely to be a new addition as friends with their baby.
Additionally, on the job front, Amrita Rao was last seen in Thackeray in 2019, while Jammin, which airs on Colors TV, is currently hosted by RJ Anmol.
Several Bollywood stars also congratulated Amrita! Amrita’s sister Preetika Rao of Beinteha and Love Ka Hai Intezar, renowned for her feelings about bringing a new member to the family. She shared that she was really nervous about Amrita during her pregnancy because of corona times, in reality not even 2 days after the news was shared with her on a video call from Amrita and Anmol, the lockdown was declared so she couldn’t meet her for the first 3-4 months. Also, an excited Preetika shared that they hardly saw her during her pregnancy to keep her safe but fortunately she came home to stay for a few days in the last two months and they even managed to have a private baby shower ceremony at her home, which was a lot of fun. Among those stars, the choreographer-director Farah Khan was the one to congratulate the pair, took to her Twitter handle, and called it “the best news in a longer period”.
The actress also posted on social media about her thoughts on becoming pregnant during Navratri, saying that Goddess Durga and her nine Avatars are dedicated to these nine days and she is entering a new stage of embodying a mother’s Avatar in herself! As she surrenders in good conscience, she says that she bow to the Strongest Female Force in the Universe. She also stated that may goddess Durga bless all mothers on the earth so that they would be able to gracefully proceed with the many Divine Avatars. Also, the territory of motherhood prayed to give strength and more power to every mother.
