Actress Soniya Bansal, known for her candid and fearless personality both on and off screen, recently had an unpleasant encounter at the airport. The star, who gained significant popularity during her stint on Bigg Boss 17, voiced her frustration over what she described as unfair treatment by the airline and airport authorities. Despite her reputation for maintaining a calm and patient demeanor, this particular incident left her visibly upset.
The issue arose when the airline, which Bansal was traveling with, reportedly closed the boarding gate 40 minutes prior to departure—far earlier than the standard rule of 25 minutes. Delayed due to security checks, Bansal nearly missed her flight, sparking a heated exchange between her and the airline staff.
In an official statement, Bansal expressed her frustration:
“The rule for gate closing is 25 minutes before departure, but the airline closed it 40 minutes earlier. After a delay at security, I reached the gate slightly late, and they initially refused to let me board. It took a heated argument to finally get on the flight. What bothers me is that airlines frequently delay flights for hours without considering the passengers’ schedules. But when it’s their turn to rush, they expect passengers to follow suit, even if it’s against the rules. It’s unfair.”
Bansal called for airlines to prioritize the convenience and interests of passengers as much as they do their own schedules, urging for change in what she describes as a “ridiculous culture.”
Known for her boldness and grace, Soniya Bansal once again stands firm on her opinions, showing why she resonates deeply with her fans. On the professional front, she has several exciting projects in the pipeline, with official announcements expected soon.
