Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh: A significant milestone was achieved in Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, as the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) was successfully conducted after a four-year hiatus. The examination, which serves as a gateway to prestigious government positions in the state, witnessed a smooth and peaceful conduct across 18 districts and 87 designated venues.

A Long-Awaited Return

The last APPSCCE was held on November 9th, 2020, with results announced nearly a year later on October 22nd, 2021. The extended gap between examinations had caused considerable anxiety and uncertainty among aspiring civil servants in the state. However, the successful conduct of this year’s exam has brought renewed hope and optimism.

A Significant Turnout

The examination attracted a significant number of applicants, with a total of 22,987 individuals vying for coveted government positions. Following a rigorous scrutiny process, 22,731 candidates were issued admit cards and were eligible to appear for the exam.
