Bengaluru, Karnataka – Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak (Chief) Mohan Bhagwat inaugurated the three-day Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) meeting in Bengaluru on Friday, marking a significant gathering for the organization as it approaches its centenary year.

The ABPS, considered the RSS’s highest decision-making body, is being held at the Janseva Vidya Kendra in Channenahalli, near Bengaluru, from March 21 to 23, 2025. This annual meeting brings together key RSS functionaries from across the country to discuss organizational matters, review past activities, and plan for the future.

  • Centenary Celebrations:
    • A primary focus of this year’s ABPS is the planning and review of activities related to the RSS’s upcoming centenary celebrations, which will commence on Vijayadashami 2025 and continue until Vijayadashami 2026.
    • Discussions will revolve around expanding the organization’s outreach and engaging with various segments of society during this significant period.
  • Organizational Review:
    • The meeting will involve a comprehensive review of the RSS’s annual report (Karyavritta) for the past year (2024-25), analyzing the organization’s activities and initiatives.
    • RSS Sarkaryavah (General Secretary) Dattatreya Hosabale will present the organization’s annual report, detailing the activities undertaken in the past year.
  • National and International Issues:
    • The ABPS will address pressing national and international issues, with a particular focus on matters concerning Hindu communities.
    • It has been reported that resolutions regarding the situations in Bangladesh, and the RSS’s 100 year journey will be addressed.
  • “Panch Parivartan” Initiatives:
    • Discussions will include the “Panch Parivartan” (Five Transformations) strategy, which focuses on:

      • Family Awakening
      • Environmental Awareness
      • Self-reliant Living
      • Civic Duties
    • The meeting will strategize on expanding these initiatives and increasing community involvement.
  • Training Programs:
    • Plans for RSS training programs (Prashikshan Vargs) will be finalized, with 95 camps scheduled between April and June.
    • These camps will cater to volunteers of various age groups.

    • The meeting is being attended by prominent RSS leaders, including Mohan Bhagwat, Dattatreya Hosabale, and other senior functionaries.
    • Representatives from various RSS-affiliated organizations, such as the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, are also participating.
  • Special Statement:
    • A special statement will be released to commemorate the 500 years of the valorous warrior queen Rani Abbakka, whom was from Karnataka.
