News Desk | New Delhi: The terrible depression over the Arabian Sea has strengthened into cyclonic storm Tauktae, which is expected to strike the Gujarat shoreline between Porbandar and Naliya on May 18, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Tauktae would be a very tropical cyclones storms from May 16-18, the IMD stated in a report posted at 1.45 p.m.
Both central and the states have indeed been preparing for days to cope with both the cyclone that is forming over the Arabian Sea. According to government sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would conduct a critical meeting later today to discuss preparations for the impending storm Tauktae.
