The Daily Routine of a Super-Commuter
Racheal’s day begins at 4:00 AM. She wakes up, gets ready, and leaves for the airport by 5:00 AM. Her flight from Penang to Kuala Lumpur departs at 5:55 AM, and she reaches her office by 7:45 AM. After a full day of work, she takes an evening flight back to Penang, arriving home by 8:00 PM.
While the routine might seem exhausting to some, Racheal has found a way to make it work for her. She uses her flight time as “me time,” spending the first few minutes reflecting on her life, then listening to music and enjoying the view.
Cost-Effective and Convenient
Surprisingly, Racheal’s unique commute is more cost-effective than her previous arrangement of renting an apartment in Kuala Lumpur. She now spends less on travel and accommodation than she did on rent. Additionally, the short walk from the airport to her office in Kuala Lumpur makes her commute quite convenient.
