New Delhi: The film Zwigato is a much-expected film by comedian Kapil Sharma. The pilot of this project is Nandita Das. It is jointly produced by Nandita Das and Sameer Nair’s Applause Entertainment. The trailer has been released a week before. The movie will come on the big screen on 17th March. The life of a food delivery person is shown in this movie. With the hand of this movie, Kapil Sharma the popular comics person of India is coming in a completely non-comic character. Before its release, the movie already got some achievements. Zwigato had its world premiere at Asian premiere at the 27th Busan International Film Festival and at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival in September 2022.
In the movie, Kapil plays the role of the delivery boy. He works hard to earn money and ends meet. The trailer commences with Kapil using his hands at the Zwigato app. He distributes food to several people at various places and clicks selfies with customers for earning small extra money. His life is a complete race for getting the best rating.
Shahana Goswami has played the role of his wife. She is a housewife. In the small clip, we saw she was complaining about him spending lesser time at home. However, later decides to help him by adopting a job. But, dazzled by his patriarchal ideology, the man can’t fathom the reality that his wife will go out of the house for earning the money.
Kapil Sharma played the comedy character in his two films ‘Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karu’ and ‘Firangi’. In an interview Kapil said, Comedy shows are my bread and butter. But because of that, I was motivated to look for something else to do. Socha kitchen safe hai. Pange lete hain thode se. Someone asked weren’t you afraid? I said why should I be afraid? Woh dukaan to apni chal hee rahi hai. I am just adding on to that.”
On Instagram, Kapil shared the poster and wrote, “Meet Manas. No matter how bumpy the road ahead is, aapka order time pe delivers kar denge yeh.” Shahana also did the same thing. The actress also shared her look with a poster and wrote, “Meet Pratima. Life is tough lekin inki five-star jaisi smile zindagi ka safar aasan kar deti hai.”
