Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and her bestie Amrita Arora are tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday. Recently they both were seen attending part in Mumbai. BMC shared the news and ANI has confirmed this today on Twitter.
According to ANI, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said in an official statement, “Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora tested positive for Covid-19. Both of them had violated Covid norms and attended several parties. BMC has ordered people, who came in contact with the two actors, to undergo RT-PCR tests.”
As Omicron cases rise in Maharashtra day by day the government has started the new covid norms. Eighteen cases have been reported across the state. Seven have been released from the hospital. Assistant commissioner of West Bandra Vinayak Vispute said that Kareena and Amrita both are now in-home quarantine, the news yet to be confirmed.
The actresses were seen to attain Anil Kapoor’s daughter and costume designer Rhea Kapoor’s party on Tuesday, last week. It was a girls’ party. Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Masaba Gupta, and Kareena’s manager Poonam Damania were also present at this party. Bebo had shared the party’s pic on her Instagram story and gave a caption, “One woman show. What a meal. GOLD. Thank you my darling Rhea #veeres for life.”
Moreover, they two were also seen to attain a reunion party at Karan Johar’s house. It was organized for celebrating 20 years of ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and Karisma Kapoor had attended the party.
Malaika Arora, Amrita’s sister was covid positive in September 2020. After recovery, she has been vocal about it and its after-effects. The topic came in her many interviews as well as social media posts.
Kareena will be seen with Amir Khan in her next film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The film is an official adaption of a Hollywood film named ‘The Forrest Gump’. Tom Hanks is in a lead role in this movie. She is also in ‘Takht’ with Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt, and Anil Kapoor.
