Mumbai: Jayvijay Sachan is a stand-up comedian and mimicry artist. He is well known for his amazing skills and comic talent. In 2022, he came into the limelight after appearing in Sony Tv’s stand-up comedy show India Laughter Champion.
Jayvijay Sachan recalls receiving compliments from Raju Srivastava. He said, “Raju ji had come on our show as a guest judge, but I did not get a chance to meet him as I was not performing in that episode. Later, his manager called me and I happened to speak to Raju ji. He complimented me on my work and praised me. He knew about my past work. It was like an achievement for me as he is a legend and such a big artist but he still knew about me and my performance.”
The 35 years old comedian had joined a television channel for an exclusive chat and revealed his moments of interacting with comedy stalwart Raju Srivastava. He also opened up about his experience of working on India’s Laughter Champion.
He started his career as a news anchor for Raftaar News. He worked there till 2013. In April 2013, he joined GNN- Global News Network as its news anchor and worked in the position till October 2013. In October 2013, he started working for Janta TV as its news anchor and worked there till January 2014. In 2014, Jayvijay made his television debut with the Colors Tv show India’s Got Talent. Jay Vijay was a semifinalist in the show.
In 2017, he made his acting debut with the TV show Lakshmi Ghar Aayi in which he played the role of a news anchor. In 2022, he participated in the TV show India’s Laughter Champion in which he appeared as a semi-finalist.
Actress Archana Puran Singh, judge along with Shekhar Suman on ‘India’s Laughter Champion’, was quite impressed with contestant Jayvijay Sachan’s act. She told him that she will ask his neighbour actor Pankaj Tripathi to watch his performance. Not only Archana but celebrity guest Jamie Lever on the show also praised him for his act.
