ICAI Declares CA Final Results: 4 Candidates Achieve Top Ranks, Welcoming 11,500 New Chartered Accountants

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Final Examinations held in November. This year witnessed an impressive performance with four candidates securing top ranks and a total of 11,500 candidates successfully clearing the rigorous examination, marking the entry of a new cohort of qualified Chartered Accountants into the professional world.  

Exceptional Performances Shine at the Top

The ICAI has revealed the names of the candidates who have achieved outstanding results and secured the top positions in the CA Final Examinations.  

• Heramb Maheshwari from Hyderabad and Rishab Ostwal R from Tirupati emerged as joint All India Rank 1 holders, both securing an impressive score of 508 marks out of 600, equivalent to 84.67%.  
• Riya Kunjankumar Shah from Ahmedabad secured the second rank with 501 marks (83.50%).  
• Kinjal Ajmera from Kolkata achieved the third rank with 493 marks (82.17%).  

These exceptional individuals have demonstrated remarkable dedication, hard work, and a profound understanding of the complex subjects covered in the CA curriculum. Their achievements serve as an inspiration to aspiring CAs across the country.

• A total of 66,987 candidates appeared for Group 1 of the CA Final Examination, with 11,253 candidates passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 16.8%.  
• In Group 2, 49,459 candidates appeared for the examination, and 10,566 candidates passed, achieving a pass percentage of 21.36%.  
• Among the candidates who appeared for both groups, 30,763 candidates participated, with 4,134 candidates successfully clearing both groups, resulting in a pass percentage of 13.44%.

These statistics highlight the challenging nature of the CA Final Examinations and the high standards maintained by the ICAI in assessing the competence of aspiring Chartered Accountants.

Candidates can access their individual results on the ICAI’s official website, icai.nic.in. To view their results, candidates need to enter their registration number and roll number. The website provides a detailed scorecard for each candidate, indicating their performance in each subject.
