MoS Ajay Mishra Teni loses his cool and calls journalists ‘chor’

New Delhi: A video has emerged on social media which shows that Ajay Mishra Teni, the Union Minister of State for Home lost his cool and did misbehave with a media personal while the journalist asked him a question about his jailed son Ashish.

On Wednesday the minister came to a function for the inauguration of an oxygen plant at a child care center. Adding charges in the Lakhimpur Kheri case then a journalist asked him about his jailed son Ashish Mishra. Then the minister lost his temper shortly and asked the journalist “Dimag kharab hai?” (Are you mad?) He was also trying to shut down the mobile phone of another journalist who was recording the whole incident. The video is now viral on social media.

Ajay Mishra threatened and expletives the media persons during present there before walking off. He also called the journalists “chor”. Besides BJP has rejected the opposition’s demand that they are seeking the resignation of Teni over Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

Ashish Mishra, son of Ajay Mishra is accused in the case of Lakhimpur Kheri violence. With 13 accused he was also arrested for killing the four farmers and a journalist in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri on 3rd October. The incident made a huge scurry throughout social media and the opposition parties are demanding to arrest them.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the UP Police gave an application to the court regarding the case on Monday. Including the attempt to murder they are seeking to invoke four more criminal charges against the 13 accused under the Arms Act.

Yesterday the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi gave an adjournment of business notice in the Lok Sabha for discussing the submitted report by the Special Investigation Team of the UP police on the Lakhimpur Kheri violence. He noted that the government must sack Ajay Mishra because his son is an accused person of that incident.

On the ongoing Winter session of the Parliament ruling out a discussion on the topic of the violation Piyush Goyal, Union minister, and senior BJP leader said that the matter is sub-judice. He said, “The probe is on under Supreme Court’s directions. Such comments (of opposition) are unfounded.”
